Just Paper
These words are just paper
Just vapor read aloud
Just a rainy cloud of thought
That slowly drizzled down
Just a knot of winding emotion
Entwined with ghostly ink
Just an ocean of drowning ideas
And old memories that won’t sink
These words are just paper
Just tapered feelings from within
Just a gentle blooming blossom
That sprouted from the skin
Just a strum of creativity
Preluding a pensive song
Just debris from forgotten dreams
That awake and strike the gong
peace.
- lise.

lise, i tried the listening to strangers as i was walking around today, and i must say that it was quite entertaining. i couldn't help but snicker.
and i agree with words being precious. so i'm going to make them count by saying:
love the poem, as per usual :)
