night on the sun.

soft lips sit--

a patient smile
makes them smaller
than those that open wide
to shout some stream of babble…
speaking to fill any awkward silence.
or perhaps they thirst speech to such extents
as to have no honest prerequisites of their partners.

but strong voices cannot be contained for long
and, oh, how I crave your conversation!
fingers and gestures, too, can be nice,
but sign language is no substitute
for those who say ‘I love you’;
a phrase with importance
perhaps only when
imparted betwixt
two pairs of
willing lips

"the true delight is in the finding out rather than in the knowing" - Asimov

 new puppies make you feel like a kid again.
found this little guy on my wall the other day.
he let me take a few soft light portraits before I let him outside.

almost ambidextrous...

let sleeping dogs lie.

Lately my dog has developed a strong affection for the foot of my bed. And I have maintained a strong affection for the rest of my bed.

Hope your summer is going well :)

peace.

escaping the grey area hysteria.

Dreaming in Color

The winding, weaving greys of truth
Ensnare me within their eternal tangle.
Blinded in the haze of insipid deception;
Paralyzed in the blaze of periphrastic perception;
I've been lost in this merciless maze since conception.
Formerly betrayed by the rays of gilded reality,
I now thread instead with the seams of fervid dreams,
And inhale the rich woven whispers of willful illusion
As truth’s beginning is born from truth’s conclusion.

peace.

third planet.

"Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself."
~ Leo Tolstoy

If we all did a little bit each day to help out the third planet, it would be a better world. So why don't you get off the computer and go eat some organic trailmix or something.

peace.
