I haven't put any sketches on here in a while, so I thought I'd show you what I'm working on right now. Is it cheating to show you only an unfinished drawing? Eh, maybe. But sometimes the transition of a blank page to a final product is more interesting anyway.

bird flew by.

What is it about birds that enthralls some of us so much? Is it their songs? Their color? Their flight? For me, it's the flight. Whenever I see birds flying, I think to myself, "Why not me? I want to fly, too... why can't I fly?" And then the birds defecate on me. At least figuratively. But sometimes literally.

Maybe they're trying to tell me to go sing my own song. (Figuratively, of course. No one wants to hear me sing.) And maybe they're right.
